So fricking cool! Sort of reminds me of book crossing but far more generous. I would love a hand made goodie that I found in the wild, but I never know exactly where they are from the photo.
I wonder if people ever 'hunt' for art to take home with them?
Knitting grafitti is supposed to stay put though isn't it?
I quite like that graffiti is for everyone to see and enjoy, and not for those who go out of their way to find in art galleries. Community spirited, i suppose.
And i don't mind if our knit graffiti disappears - i just like to think that maybe it finds a new home indoors. Would love to know if anyone has re-homed any of our stuff...
I talked to someone who says her paste ups always disappear. She sort of felt the same way as Knitsch in that she'd rather they stayed up in public for more people to enjoy.
Mind you, better saved by someone else than ending up in the bin. It's a hard one though.

Do you expect people to take your art home? Do you leave information so people can contact you?
Knitsch left that art for people to take home. Isn't she looovely?
But unfortunately no, we haven't yet left contact details. It's something I'm looking in to though. :)
