Oooooo, that's me sewing up my first piece of outdoor knitting!! I've walked by every day since to see if it's still there and it is! Even on the way to work this morning :) Being new to this, I was wondering, what happens to all the creations that are made and attached around town? Do they stay there for a while or does the council or someone come along and remove them? It was great fun - thanks!
The location makes a big difference to how long the pieces stay up and can be anywhere from a few days to a few months. We don't really know who removes them; street cleaners, interested parties, little shites, those who object to graffiti knitters...?
Rest assured your work lives on in photographs and memories.
